Apply In-Person:
- To apply for reporting about Employment and Labour Dispute in person, the applicants (workers) has to first notify their employer.
- The workers should compose a piece of writing to make the employer aware of the dispute that the workers have.
- Within the provided time, the employer should respond to the notification as applicable.
- If employer did not respond, the workers should take the matter to the Minister of the Labour and Employment.
- In that case, the workers should prepare a Complaint letter explaining the Employment and Labour Dispute.

- Visit the office and submit the complaint letter along with the other documents (as required) to the Minister.
- The Minister will make arrangements for the mediation meeting between the management and worker’s representative.
- The Minister will hear both the sides and their claims and then make a proposal of resolution to the parties.
- If any of the parties is against the resolution made by the Minister, the workers shall officially proceed to declare a trade dispute.
- For that, the workers should visit the Minister’s office and obtain and complete a prescribed format of application.
- On receipt of the application, the Minister would formulate a conciliation panel for arriving at a solution.
- If the dispute could not be resolved even after, it will be recommended to the Industrial court where it would be resolved at any cost.
