Apply In-Person:

  1. To Renew Power (Electricity) Trading, Sell License from NERC, the applicant has to approach the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) link

  11. NERC will review the renewal application and documents to ensure they meet the specified requirements.
  12. This process may include checks for compliance with regulations, operational performance, and financial stability.
  13. If the renewal application is approved, NERC will issue the renewed Power Trading License.
  14. This renewed license will grant the legal authority to continue the power trading activities according to the terms and conditions specified.
  15. This entire process can be completed in 90 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
