Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To obtain a Post-paid number in Nigeria, the applicant should visit the nearest network operator office or authorised vendor/dealer of any network service provider of Nigeria.
2. The address and contact details of the Consumer Affairs Bureau of the Nigerian Communications Commission can be found in the following link:contact link
3. Visit the office of the network operator, approach the relevant counter and ask for the procedure to apply for a post-paid number.
4. Follow the instructions of the person in-charge and complete the application format (if any) issued by him/her.
5. Fill the form with your details as required and also attach the documents listed in the “required documents” section of this page.
6. Submit the completed application form and the required documents to the relevant person in-charge.
7. Pay the required fees at the cash counter at the office and the concerned official may have to capture your data for identification purposes.
8. After that, the applicant will be issued with the post-paid number and also informed about the activation process.
