Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for converting Foreign Commercial Pilot License (CPL) in person, the applicant has to visit the office of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority.
2. The address and contact details of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) can be found in the following contact link
3. Visit the NCAA office and obtain an application form for converting Foreign Commercial Pilot License (CPL) from the relevant department.
4. Make sure that you have all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Complete the application form with necessary details and attach the required documents with the completed form.
6. Then, proceed to submit the application package to the Director General at the office in person for further processes.
7. After successful submission, pay the cost of application and for the conversion of the license as directed by the officials.
8. On receipt of the stipulated payment, the agency will start the assessment of the application and verification of the attached documents.
9. Once all the necessary processes are over and Permit is ready to be issued, the applicant will be informed through phone or email to collect it.
