Apply In-Person:
- To apply for Weighing Scale Verification Certification in person, the applicant has to visit the Weights & Measures Departmentof the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment.
- The address and contact details can be found in the following contact link
- Visit the office and obtain the application form for Weighing Scale Verification Certification from the relevant department.
- Make sure that you have all the documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- Complete the application form as required with appropriate details and information. Attest the application form with your signature.
- Attach the documents with the completed application form.
- Submit the application form and attached documents to the relevant authority at the office. Pay the applicable fees as directed by the officials.
- After submission, technical officers will inspect the object to be certified and submit report to the Certification authorities.
- The reports including results of analysis are assessed and recommendations made to the Director General of FMITI for approval.
- Upon approval of the Director, the applicant is informed regarding the approval through phone or email and asked to collect the Certificate through any applicable means.
