Apply In-Person

  1. To apply for getting a Combined Expatriate Resident Permit Brown Alien Card in person, the applicant has to visit the office of Immigration State Command.
  2. The address and contact details of the Nigerian Immigration State Command offices can be found in the following link:contact link (visit the link and click “Commands” option on the left side)
  3. Visit the office and obtain an application form for getting a Combined Expatriate Resident Permit Brown Alien Card as applicable to your requirement from the relevant department.
  4. Make sure that you have all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. Complete the form as required with relevant details under respective sections. After completing the application form, attach the required documents with the completed form.
  6. Then, proceed to submit the package to the relevant authority at the office in person for further processes. Make the necessary payment as directed.
  7. After submission, the completed form and corresponding documents will be put into further verification and clearance processes.
  8. Once all the processes got completed, the authorities will take the necessary steps for the permit issuance process.

EligibilityEdit

  • Any alien resident living in Nigeria or arriving inside the Republic and he/she is in need to stay in Nigeria for more than 56 days, is eligible for a CERPAC Brown card.
  • Also, crew members of a ship who leave their ship and stay on the land of Nigeria for more than 28 days, are also eligible for the permit.

InstructionsEdit

  • AR forms can be obtained from the Immigration Service quarters and State Commands all over the Federation whereas CR & AO forms are obtainable from Afribank Nigeria Plc.
  • Application forms must be completed using a black ball point pen in capital letters.
  • During submission, the completed forms and required documents should be enclosed within the envelope in which the CERPAC forms are issued initially.
  • It is important that the completed form must contain all the information required properly and the form must be filled legibly, in order to get accepted by the Authority.
  • Make sure that you attach all the required documents as specified by the authority to avoid rejections.

  • AO forms are for other Nationals and persons with special Immigrant status whereas AR forms are for Exempted Persons like Diplomats, Government officials, NGO’s and Niger-wives.
