Apply through the Canadian centre:
- To Obtain a CANPASS (Air, Private Aircraft, Private Boats), the applicant has to approach the Canadian Government – CANPASS CORPORATE AIRCRAFT link
- The applicant has to download the application form from the following link
- The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
- Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
- Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned office mailing address.
- The mailing address is mentioned in the “Office Locations & Contacts” section of this page.
- The fee detail for this procedure is mentioned in the “Fees” section of this page.
- After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
- The officer will contact the applicant to visit the office for further process.
- The applicant is required to attend an interview with a CBSA officer.
- Once all types of process get completed successfully, the applicant will get the license through the mail.
- This entire process can be completed within 6 weeks or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

EligibilityEdit
- Any traveling person who intends to Obtain a CANPASS (Air, Private Aircraft, Private Boats) is eligible to make this application.
FeesEdit
- In CONPASS private aircraft, the non-refundable processing fee is CAN$40 for each applicant 18 years old and above.
- In CONPASS air, the non-refundable processing fee is CAN$50 for each applicant 18 years old and above.
- The applicant who is under 18 years old, the fee is free of cost.
- NOTE: The applicant can also send a certified cheque or money order in Canadian funds payable to the Receiver General for Canada. Do not send cash.

- The Canadian Passenger Accelerated Service System is a Canada Border Services Agency program in place to streamline customs and immigration clearance for travelers flying on corporate and private aircraft.
- CANPASS Corporate Aircraft and CANPASS Private Aircraft are programs that speed up border crossings for frequent, low-risk, pre-approved travelers from the United States into Canada.

Penalities:
- The membership may be revoked or suspended if the applicant fails to comply with the requirements and procedures of the CANPASS – Private Aircraft Program. This includes non-compliance with customs and immigration legislation or any other related laws the CBSA administers and enforces.
- Depending on the severity of the violation, the CBSA can impose penalties, remove non-residents, and seize any goods and any aircraft used to carry the goods. As well, the applicant may be subject to criminal prosecution.
