Nevada - How to obtain a Divorce Certificate

ProcedureEdit

To obtain a certified copy of Divorce Certificates you must write to the County Recorders Office in the county where the divorce was issued.
Mail the completed application form, a legal size self-addressed stamped envelope and money order or cashiers check payable to County Recorder. Do not send cash and personal check.
Mail to: County Recorders Office in the county where the divorce was issued.

Vital Records & Statistics State Office do not issue copies of the divorce records. State Index is for verification purposes only
For certified copies of divorce certificates, you must write to the County Recorder in the county where the divorce was issued.
Nevada Division of Vital Records can search for and verify events occurring after 1968 if you submit a request containing the full name(s) of the person whose record you are searching for, the approximate date of the event and the city where you believe the event occurred.
The fee for verification of a record is $10.00 for each name searched.
Apply to county where license was issued.
You can order you divorce certificate at Clerk of District Court in county where divorce was issued.
Make money order or cashiers check payable to County Recorder. No personal Checks.
Credit card requests are not available unless noted.
