Nepal - Obtain Police Clearance Certificate (Police Character Certificate)

Apply Online:

  1. To Obtain a Police Clearance Certificate, the applicant has to make an online process through the following link – link
  2. The applicant has to click the “Register” button.
  3. Before register, the applicant selects the option and click the “Next” button.
  4. Enter the details with the captcha button and click the “Register” button.
  5. Now the applicant has to enter the email ID and password and click the “Login”
  6. After successful login, choose the service “Police clearance registration”
  7. Then click the “Use” button to get the electronic application form.
  8. Enter all the necessary details in the application form and click the “Send” button.
  9. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. #If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  10. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
  11. The applicant has to visit the office to show the required documents.
  12. The necessary documents are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page should be submit while visiting the office.
  13. Also, pay the required amount of fee as per the authority’s request.
  14. After completing all the processes, the applicant gets the certificate from the office.
  15. This entire process can be completed within 15-20 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

A. Apply through embassy or consulate in-person

  2. Application form can be obtained from the embassy. Call the office and fix appointment for personal visit. Also find out the details for this procedure.
  3. On the scheduled date, go to the office with all the document in original and in copy. Please follow as per officer guidelines to process your application
  4. This application will be processed by the respective department. The completed certificates are forwarded to the concern.
  5. Applicant shall collect the certificate with the respective office upon notification or can get it delivered as per norms applicable.

For those who are out of Nepal, they are required to submit the documents under-listed by their representative or concern organization with their identity and letter of attorney.
