ProcedureEdit

  1. To request for a copy of the death certificate, please go to the State Civil Service.
  2. You may also send your request by post. You will need to indicate the name, and the date of death of the deceased. Do not forget to include a return address where you would like the certificate to be sent. All request must be accompanied by a check payable to "Monsieur le Receveur Municipal". The amount to be paid would depend on the number of certificates being requested (1.00 per certificate plus postage).

Death certificates are issued to all deaths occurring in Monaco, and may be issued to any person.



FeesEdit

Number of certificates being obtained: Total cost = payment for the certificate(s) + postage:

  • 1 certificate: 1.66
  • 2 certificates: 2.66
  • 3 certificates: 4.10
  • 4 certificates: 5.10
  • 5 certificates: 6.10
  • 6 certificates or more: call the State Civil Service to inquire about the price


Note: Please contact the State Civil Service to inquire about request coming from outside France.



ValidityEdit

A death certificate does not have an expiry date .
