Apply In-Person:

  1. To Registration of the Constitutive Act of Rural Associations of Collective Interest, the applicant has to approach the Registro Público de Comercio link
  2. Prepare the Constitutive Act document for the Rural Association of Collective Interest. This document outlines the purpose, objectives, governance structure, membership criteria, decision-making processes, and operational guidelines of the association.
  3. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
  4. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)

  6. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
  7. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
  8. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
  9. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  10. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
  11. They will verify the legal validity of the Constitutive Act, confirm the identity of the association members, and evaluate the adherence to relevant regulations.
  12. Upon successful verification, the authority will proceed with the registration of the Constitutive Act.
  13. They will issue a registration certificate or document that serves as proof of the legal recognition of the Rural Association of Collective Interest.
  14. This entire process can be completed within 15 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

The following are the eligibility criteria for registration of the Constitutive Act of Rural Associations of Collective Interest (Asociación Rural de Interes Colectivo, or ARIC) in Mexico:

  • The ARIC must be formed by at least 25 ejidatarios or comuneros.
  • The ARIC must have a written constitutive act that specifies the purpose of the ARIC, the rights and obligations of the members, and the management structure of the ARIC.
  • The ARIC must be registered with the National Agrarian Registry (Registro Agrario Nacional).
