Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Get Credit for Postgraduate Studies in Mexico or Abroad, the applicant has to approach the Secretary of Public Education link.
2. Review the admission requirements for the postgraduate program to make sure you meet the academic, language proficiency, and other requirements.
3. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
4. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
5. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
7. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
8. There is no fee for Getting Credit for Postgraduate Studies in Mexico or Abroad.
9. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
10. Then the application will be processed further.
11. Look for financial aid or scholarship opportunities to help cover the costs of your postgraduate studies. Check with an educational institution and external sources, such as government agencies, foundations, and private organizations.
12. Once admitted, complete the postgraduate program and meet all academic requirements to receive credit for your studies.
13. After completing the program, request recognition of your studies from the appropriate academic authority, such as the Mexican Secretariat of Public Education or the relevant accreditation agency.
14. This will allow you to obtain a diploma or degree that is recognized in Mexico.
15. This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
