Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Apply for Unification of Mixed Resource Accounts (IMSS ISSSTE), the applicant has to approach the Institute of Security and Social Services for State Workers– link

11. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
12. IMSS and ISSSTE will review the application and documentation to verify their eligibility and the legitimacy of the unification request. This process may take some time, so be prepared for possible delays.
13. Once the application is approved, they will receive notification from both IMSS and ISSSTE regarding the unification of the mixed resource accounts.
14. This entire process can be completed within 3 - 4 weeks or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

Eligibility

Eligible to apply for Unification of Mixed Resource Accounts (IMSS ISSSTE) in Mexico if you meet the following requirements:

• They are at least 60 years old.
• Theyhave at least 15 years of service with an IMSS-affiliated employer and at least 15 years of service with an ISSSTE-affiliated employer.
• They have not yet started receiving a pension from either the IMSS or the ISSSTE.
