Apply In Person:

  1. To Make a Search on Companies or Partnerships in person, the applicant should contact the Corporate and business registration department in Mauritius. Contact link
  2. Applicants should download the application form from this link. link
  3. The applicant should provide all the information that is requested by the department, including the name of the company or partnership, the address, the type of business, and any other information that is necessary to complete the application process.
  4. The applicant will then receive the necessary documents to fill in, such as the application form and the affidavit before submitting them to the department.
  5. The applicant should provide the A copy of the Memorandum and Articles of Association (M&A), A copy of the company’s registration certificate, A copy of the company’s latest filed accounts, A copy of the company’s list of directors, A copy of the company’s latest annual return, A copy of the company’s Certificate of Incorporation and they can be found under the “Required Document” section of this page.
  6. A fee for this procedure is has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
  7. Once the application is accepted, the department will conduct a search in their database and provide the applicant with the search results, allowing them to see whether the information they have provided is accurate and complete.
  8. The applicant may then review the search results to ensure accuracy and relevancy, verifying that the information provided is both correct and up to date.
  9. The search results will provide the applicant with the relevant information such as the address, the type of business and the date of registration.
  10. If the applicant is satisfied with the search results, they can confidently move forward with registering their company or partnership with the department and be assured that they have taken all necessary steps to ensure that the registration process is fully completed and with the utmost accuracy.
