Apply In-Person:
- To Get Consent and Certificate of Director of Amalgamated Company in person, the applicant should contact the Corporate and business registration department in Mauritius. Contact link
- The applicant should download the registration form from this link
- The applicant should provide the details of the amalgamated company such as the name, address, contact details, date of incorporation etc.
- The applicant should provide the necessary documents such as the amalgamation agreement, copy of the board resolutions approving the amalgamation and the necessary documents of the amalgamating companies and they can be found under the “Required Document” section of this page.
- The applicant should submit the application form with the required documents to the Corporate and Business Registration Department.
- The applicant should submit the prescribed fee for obtaining the consent and certificate of director of amalgamated company.
- A fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
- The Corporate and Business Registration Department will verify the documents and process the application for the consent and certificate of director of amalgamated company.
- Upon successful completion of verification process, the Corporate and Business Registration Department will issue the consent and certificate of director of amalgamated company.
- The applicant should collect the consent and certificate of director of amalgamated company from the department.
- The consent and certificate of the director of the amalgamated company should be kept in a safe place and should be produced whenever required.
- The processing time for getting a Consent and Certificate of Director of an Amalgamated Company takes three to five working days.

- The Get Consent and Certificate of Director of an Amalgamated Company in Mauritius must be signed by all directors of the amalgamating companies.
- Each director must be a natural person who is 18 years or older and has been resident in Mauritius for at least one year before the date of the amalgamation.

- The Consent and Certificate of Director of an Amalgamated Company in Mauritius is issued by the Registrar of Companies in Mauritius.
- The director must make a statutory declaration to the Registrar of Companies, in the prescribed form, stating that the amalgamation is authorized under the Companies Act and that all provisions of the Act have been complied with.
- The Certificate of Director will be issued upon payment of the prescribed fee and upon the successful completion of the amalgamation process.
