Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Get Consent and Certificate of Director of Amalgamated Company in person, the applicant should contact the Corporate and business registration department in Mauritius. Contact link

3. The applicant should provide the details of the amalgamated company such as the name, address, contact details, date of incorporation etc.
4. The applicant should provide the necessary documents such as the amalgamation agreement, copy of the board resolutions approving the amalgamation and the necessary documents of the amalgamating companies and they can be found under the “Required Document” section of this page.
5. The applicant should submit the application form with the required documents to the Corporate and Business Registration Department.
6. The applicant should submit the prescribed fee for obtaining the consent and certificate of director of amalgamated company.
7. A fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
8. The Corporate and Business Registration Department will verify the documents and process the application for the consent and certificate of director of amalgamated company.
9. Upon successful completion of verification process, the Corporate and Business Registration Department will issue the consent and certificate of director of amalgamated company.
10. The applicant should collect the consent and certificate of director of amalgamated company from the department.
11. The consent and certificate of the director of the amalgamated company should be kept in a safe place and should be produced whenever required.
12. The processing time for getting a Consent and Certificate of Director of an Amalgamated Company takes three to five working days.

Eligibility

• The Get Consent and Certificate of Director of an Amalgamated Company in Mauritius must be signed by all directors of the amalgamating companies.

• The Consent and Certificate of Director of an Amalgamated Company in Mauritius is issued by the Registrar of Companies in Mauritius.
