Information which might helpEdit
- A digital signature Certificate in Mauritius is a legally binding electronic form of identification that is used to verify the authenticity of a digital document or transaction.
- It is based on asymmetric cryptography, which uses two keys—a public key and a private key—to create a digital signature Certificate.
- The process involves hashing the document or transaction and then encrypting it with the sender's private key.
- It can then be encrypted with the receiver's public key to prove the document or transaction came from the sender.
