Apply In-Person

  1. Applicant should visit the Mali Technic System located in Sogoniko or in its regional representations precisely to the Registration Section and express your interest.
    • Collect necessary forms and accurately fill them.
    • Attach all the required documents (listed below); and
    • Submit the documents to be verified by the agent.
  2. If the agent is satisfied that the file is in order, he/she will forward it to the cash counter, you will then be advised to make payment of the required fees, upon which you will be issued with an acknowledgment receipt.
  3. Upon making payment the file is returned to the registration section for registration and numbering, then returned to the inspector responsible for scheduling an appointment for the vehicle inspection visit, whom then notifies the applicant about the inspection arrangement.
  4. During the inspection the inspector will inspect the following aspect of the vehicle;
    • The brakes/identification/lighting /the tires/the direction/geometry/signaling /nuisances and accessories (windshield wipers, fire extinguishers, spare wheels, triangles, medicine box.
  5. If there is no fault, the validity of all the components checked is observed and if he is satisfied with the inspection he will affix a sticker on the vehicle windshield.
  6. The inspector will then issue you with the part n ° 1 of the certificate and part n ° 2 to the certificate will be transmitted to the regional transport directorate for classification.
  7. If the is a defect, the inspector will advise you and you will be required to implement the changes/modification/upgrade within 15 days for light vehicle and 30 days for public transport and heavy goods vehicles and then notify the department, who will then schedule a re-visit for the inspection at a fee.
Note: The first technical inspection takes place 3 years after the first entry into circulation

Delays in the technical visit generate the following penalties:

  • 5 to 15 days, 25% of the base price
  • From 15 to 31 days, 50%
  • From 40 days, 75%
