Apply In-Person:

  1. To renew the money lending licence, a valid moneylender shall apply with the authority (District Deputy Registrar) by whom the licence was granted or last renewed.

  3. Please go to the respective office. Get advice on the renewal process. Please collect the renewal application form or write on a plain paper as advised.
  4. Please complete the application form. Attach the required documents as per our “Required Documents” section of this page along with the applicable renewal fees (treasury receipt / as per the advised format) if any, to the receiving authority.
  5. After receiving the application, authorities will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  6. Authorities will make entries about this application in the manual record or electronically using the computer and provide applicant a record number for reference.
  7. Concerned authority will process the application to check the authenticity of the submitted details. The applicant will be instructed to produce his/her accounts for inspection. The authority, then assess the inspection fee.
  8. The applicant shall pay the fees as instructed and provide the proof of paying the fees.
  9. The inspection will be conducted. If required, the authority will visit the premises to do required due diligence.
  10. Once the inspection is complete and the outcome of the inspection looks satisfactory, the licence will be renewed.
  11. The status, viz. renewal or rejection if any will be conveyed to the applicant through an SMS or through phone call.
  12. Please follow the department’s guidelines to get the renewed licence as per applicable norms.


Apply through Aaplesarkar

  1. To Renew Money Lending License, the applicant can make the application via Aaplesarkar Portal by using the following link link
  2. The applicant has to enter the user ID and password and click “Login Now. If the applicant doesn’t have an account the applicant can click on “Register Now” and register an account.
  3. Then the applicant has to click the “Department of Co-Operation Marketing and Textiles” menu and select “Renew Money Lending License” and read the instruction and click “Apply”.
  4. Next Select Registration – Form, fill out the online form, and submit.
  5. The applicant will get the application Id and the application screen will be closed.
  6. Open the application submitting application id and see the status of the application and the instruction given on the right side of the screen.
  7. If Status is uploaded document, then click upload the documents on right side instructions.
  8. By Clicking on the documents which want to upload browse will appear and upload all the required documents with the above same procedure.
  9. Then Click upload document at the bottom and see the status again which will show for payment.
  10. Click on pay the fees on the right-side button and choose the option of payment and make payment.
  11. Check the status it will show "under scrutiny" which means your application is on the desk for scrutiny check the status regularly, either it is "approved” or "rejected”
  12. If rejected check your mail and follow the instruction given in the mail and read the instructions.
  13. If you see the status "completed” and the "Download certificate” on the right side of your screen Then you can download the Registration certificate or check the mail for permit.


Note:
  • All applicant has to follow the respective state moneylenders act rules and regulations.
  • The Interest rate and tenure for the loan should be fixed as per state government norms.
  • When an application for renewal of a licence is received by the respective licensing authority within the prescribed period, the registration shall, until the application is finally disposed of, be deemed to be valid.





Apply Through Mobile App

  1. To Renew Money Lending License, the applicant can make the application via RTS Maharashtra app link
  2. After installing the app, click on “Getting Started” and “select language” to start the application.
  3. Then the applicant has to click the “Co – op Marketing” menu and select “Renew Money Lending License” and read the instruction and click “Apply”.
  4. Next the applicant has to enter the user ID and password and click “Login Now. If the applicant doesn’t have an account the applicant can click on “Register Now” and register an account.
  5. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
  6. Make sure that the applicant has to upload all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  7. Review the application and click “Submit”
  8. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
  9. An acknowledgment receipt will be displayed. Please save it for future reference, it contains the application summary and contact details of the person to be contacted.
  10. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
  11. The applicant can check the status of the application by clicking on “Track” menu by entering the department and application ID.

  • All original and copy of original with self-attestation as advised by respective authorities to be submitted as per requirement.

EligibilityEdit

  • A valid licence holder is eligible to apply for renewal.
  • An application for renewal of licence may be made on any date within three months prior to the expiry of the licence.
  • The applicant should not have got his/her licence cancelled within last six months or the prescribed period before the date of current application.
  • No application for renewal of licence shall be accepted from the expiry of sixty days of the validity of the licence.

  • Security deposit as per requirement.
  • Charges for affixing stamp may be required.




ValidityEdit

  • A registration certificate remain in force for five years from the date on which it is granted and may be renewed from time to time for a period of five years at a time or renewed as per the period mentioned on the licence.
