Madhya Pradesh - Online Register a Marriage and Obtain Certificate


Step 1 : First one has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online. If you would like to know about the documents that are required for this procedure, please visit the following link : Required Documents for Registering a Marriage and Obtaining Certificate
Step 2 : Please use the following link to apply online : Apply Online.
Step 3 : In this page please click “Marriage Registration” option under “Citizen Services” section which is highlighted in Yellow in the below image. Then click “Marriage Registration” option which is highlighted in Yellow.

Step 4 : Now click “click here to apply” option which appears on the top as well as at the bottom of the page. Then option which appears on the top is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 5 : Now select your city by typing the city name in the textbox. Then click “Continue” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 6 : Now complete the application form with valid details.

Step 7 : Scroll down the form to get more sections. Refer the below image where the scrolling bar is pointed out by an RED arrow.

Step 8 : Please complete Bride Details section with valid details.

Step 9 : Also provide information about the witnesses.

Step 10 : Then upload the necessary documents in the Document Upload for Marriage section.

Step 11 : Now complete the checklist section and click the checkbox highlighted in RED. Then click “Continue” tab which is highlighted in RED in the below image.

Step 12 : After completing the application, Please make payment as applicable. Once the payment has been made successfully, acknowledgement number and payment receipt will be given to the applicant through the registered email id and mobile.
Step 13 : Please submit it to the registrar office of your area (ward office to the concerned authorities) and follow their guidelines to complete the registration.
