For obtaining authorization for handling Electronic wastes, you have to visit the XGN module in MPPCB website using the following link: Link
Click on “Applicant Login” button. If you already have an Industry registration, login using your User ID and Password. Else, make a new registration in the XGN Website, click on “To create a new id /password” button, you get new page containing registration form.
Fill your details and click on “Submit” button. You will get a pop up containing user name and password. Enter using this login credentials. Click on “Click” button corresponding ‘to open online application (For Consent / Authorisation / Registration)’ in the homepage.
In the next screen, mention ‘Type of activity’ that is going to be carried out and fill all the fields accordingly. Also, fill the Director details and click on “Save & Continue” button.
You will have to update your details in the same screen (if required) and click “Save & continue” button.
Further in the next appearing screen, specify the ‘Type of Application’ and all the mandatory and required fields for the setup. Select “E-waste” option under ‘Authorization under’ field. Click on “Go” button.
Click on “click here” button corresponding to ‘Fill information under E-Waste Rule’. In the page that opens, specify the type of process that is going to be carried out with the E-waste and also fill all the details of E-waste. Click on “Update” after filling all the details and updation message will pop-up on screen. Click "Ok" and close the window.
Now, click on “click here” button corresponding to ‘Upload documents’ field to upload the required documents. Click on “choose file” button and “upload” button once chosen. And click on “Submit Application”.
Then, click “click here” button corresponding to ‘Make payment’ field and make the payment as directed. Your application is lodged successfully.
In the homepage, the applicant can find other services. Under “Query and Reply” service, the user can find and reply the queries raised by the board. Click on the ID “Reply Query”, enter your reply or click on “Upload document” if you need to upload any document in accordance with the raised query.
After successful submission and acceptance of the application, it will be taken to the query and scrutiny at Regional office. Now, the use should to proceed to make the fee payment and pay the prescribed fees.
To Pay fees for your application (if prescribed), click on “Click”corresponding to ‘Payments’ in homepage. After the payment, the authorities will start processing the authorization order.
The applicants can download the authorization order from their respective logins as well as from the Board’s website. From "DOWNLOADS" applicant can download Consent Order, Legal Order or Letters provided by MPPCB. (These download will only appear once particular file is uploaded)

EligibilityEdit

Industries applying for E-waste (Management and Handling) Authorization should possess valid Consent/Renewal of consent order.

The Industries applying for the authorization must be eligible of providing reliable Operating Facility for managing the wastes effectively. The operating facility will be needful for specialized supervision and better instrumentation.

The fees structure or details can be obtained from the Board Personnel.

ValidityEdit

Authorization granted under the E-waste (Management and Handling) rules shall be valid for a period of five years.

Processing TimeEdit

On receipt of complete application in all respects, the SPCB will take a period of about 120 days for the issuance of authorization.

InstructionsEdit

It has to be ensured that applicants should not have submitted applications for E-wastes authorization using more than one User Id for the industry location.
Any unauthorized change in personnel, equipment or working conditions as mentioned in the application by the person authorized shall constitute a transgression of his authorization.
The authorized person must get prior permission from the SPCB or PCC to shut down the operations.
