ProcedureEdit

  1. Land acquisition involves, Acquiring body, the processing body and the land owner. Acquiring body will process the requirement based on the government provision.
  2. Collectrate is responsible for the requisition for acquisition of land for public purpose related to different projects of development is concerned. Assessment of valuation of land on requisition is also governed by the department.

In Person

  1. Applicant has to approach the respective collector office to make request. This request will be enrooted to respective authorities and can be accessed by the Thaasildhaar to processed further.

  3. Applicant shall use the following link for form: link please refer from page 28.
  4. Applicant should complete the form and enclose the required documents and submit to the collector for that district (in few cases, application has to be made to the “Directorate of Administrative Reforms”).
  5. Along with the application, please make sure you have all the following listed document.
    1. Copy of Land Documents
    2. Copy of recent Encumbrance Certificate
    3. Present Patta
  6. The application will be referred to the Revenue Inspector under the guidance of Thasildhar. After verification of the application a report will be forwarded to the Taluk Office again.
  7. All the reports will be sent to the respective Collectrate.
  8. Collector will issue respective orders based on the report and any enquiries, if required.
  9. The appropriate authorities will work with the process of acquisition of land.



Apply through Centres:

  1. To apply through centres, the applicant has to visit the respective “CSC” centre. Please tap on the following link to locate the centre according to the respective district: link.
  2. Make sure to have the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  3. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
  4. The operator will process the application online.
  5. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement.
  6. The status, viz. Approval or Rejection if any, will be conveyed to the applicant through an SMS.
  7. If verified, the certificate will be hand delivered or sent through post to the address mentioned while applying in a stipulated period of time.

  • A certificate for administrative sanction for the project for which the land is proposed to be acquired.
  • A certificate by the requiring body.

  • A certificate to the effect that sufficient provisions of funds in respect to cost of compensation.

  • Copy of recent Encumbrance certificate.
  • Present Patta.
  • Relevant Map on Tracing cloth (5 copies village wise).
