ProcedureEdit

  • A village map will have details of all the survey numbers of the village both agricultural, non-agricultural including, topographical details.
  • The applicant may reach for the offline process in case of the online service is unavailable for the requested area.
  • For offline procedure, the applicant shall reach the respective tahsildhar / taluk office to apply Or through RTI at the respective region office (Public Information Officer).


Apply In-Person:

  1. To obtain the village map offline, the applicant shall approach their respective Assistant Director Re-Survey office (the applicant shall also enquire at their respective tahsildhar/taluk office) having jurisdiction over the area.
  2. Contact Link AND Link1 Please select the respective district button. User will reach respective district portal. Here select “Directory” menu OR “DIRECTORY > Revenue Officers” OR “ABOUT DISTRICT > Who’s Who” OR “ABOUT DISTRICT > ADMINISTRATIVE SETUP > Wards and Panchayats” OR “DIRECTORY > PUBLICUTILITIES > Municipalities” as appropriate for the respective contact details.
  3. Please visit the respective office and consult with the designated authority. The authority will provide the details for applying. The applicant shall meet the respective authority as advised and collect the application form or write on a plain A4 sheet as advised.
  4. Please complete the application form. Attach the documents as per the “Required Documents” section of this page along with the appropriate payment of fees as per acceptable mode (challan/DD) and submit it to the designated receiving authority as advised.
  5. After receiving the application, the authorities will examine the application and other documents furnished. If all are in place, the application will be accepted and an acknowledgement receipt will be provided. Please keep it safe for future reference.
  6. ”SMS” triggered update on application status will be sent to the applicant’s mobile. So, keep track of the notification from the department.
  7. The department will process the application internally.
  8. After all the processing is complete, the department will get the copy of village map ready.
  9. The copy of village map will be hand-delivered or delivered through post or as per applicable norms.
  10. This entire process can be completed within 15 working days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

EligibilityEdit

  • Applicant should be a citizen of India.
  • Those who are 18 years and above are eligible to apply.
  • Any person who is eligible as stated above and wishes to obtain a copy of the village map can apply.
  • The applicant may purchase a maximum of 10 maps or the number fixed by the respective state in one transaction per person / month.



FeesEdit

  • The applicant shall pay the processing fee/service charge, if any, as per the authorities quote at the time of applying.
  • The applicant has to pay the processing fee or the printout charges as advised by the authorities for per page of the map.



ValidityEdit

  • The village map is a timely response to the citizen request for information. The validity of the information counts rather than the document.
  • The village map stand valid till any land acquisition happens from the government side.

InstructionsEdit

  • The resale or redistribution of the village map is a criminal offence.
  • The village maps are only used as a location map and also identification of land parcels of survey numbers and details.
  • Any alteration of village boundaries, Field boundaries and details by a buyer is also a criminal offence.
  • The details mentioned in the map may or may not be available in reality.
  • Incomplete application will be rejected.
  • Avoid spelling mistakes while filling the application form.
