ProcedureEdit

  • The “Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET)” is conducted by the Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan to determine the eligibility of candidates as teachers in government or private schools.
  • There will be an official notification release by the respective board for KTET. On the issue of notification, the deserving candidates shall apply to register for the KTET.


Apply Online

  1. The candidate shall use the following link to reach the respective portal to apply online Link
  2. In the given page, please click on the “CLICK HERE” hyperlink next to “NEW REGISTRATION FEBRAURY 2022” (The option may change as per the year for which the test is conducted) option to reach the “EXAM REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS” page.
  3. Please go through the instructions by using the “Read Instructions” button and please click on the checkbox for the options provided and then click on the “Click here to New Registration” button to reach the “CANDIDATE REGISTRATION K-TET FEBRUARY 2022 page.
  4. The applicant shall select the respective option for “WHETHER EMPLOYED AS TEACHER” option and select the category as appropriate.
  5. Please complete the rest of the page prompts as appropriate. Please upload recent photograph as appropriate using the “Choose File” button.
  6. Once the mandatory details are filled in, please click on the check boxes and then click on the “SAVE” button to get a popup with a message “Successfully saved…”. Please click the “OK” button to get a preview page.
  7. Please save the application ID and application number for future reference. Please check the preview. If all are in place, then click on the checkbox at the bottom for declaration and then click on the given button on the right side to reach a new page in order to proceed and make payment.
  8. In the given page, the applicant shall use the applicable button to save or print the application. Also, please click on the “CLICK HERE TO PROCEED FOR PAYMENT” button to reach the payment gateway page.
  9. Please process the payment gateway page as per the online payment option as applicable to complete the submission of application.
  10. The applicant will be directed to the login page, please use the application ID and application number at the given space as applicable and then click on the “Sign In” button to reach a new page. Here, please use the applicable option to print the filled final application form.
  11. This application will be processed by the respective department. Once the department approves the application, the applicant will get intimation and the admit card will be provided as per applicable norms.

EligibilityEdit

  • The candidate should be the citizen of India.
  • The age limit for the candidates is 18 Years to 40 Years.
  • For those who belong to SC, ST, and OBC, age relaxation in the upper age limit is 5 Years.
  • Candidates should be class 12 passed or a graduate from a recognized university with a minimum of 45 per cent marks.
  • Candidates should have obtained a Diploma in Education or Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) or completed any other prescribed teacher training programme/course.
