Kerala - Apply for Pass Temporary Travel Pass (e-Pass) due to Covid-19

Procedure

Based on the impacts and spread of covid – 19, government might restrict the issuance of such passes. Please look for the updates.

Apply Online

1. Go to the online portal: Online portal link
2. In the given page please select “Emergency Pass” session. Please complete the details as prompted, upload required documents and select the checkbox for “I’m not a robot” option at the bottom of the page. Now hit “Submit” tab to submit the form online.
3. Applicant gets acknowledgement on the screen as well as in their mobile number as “SMS”for online submission of application.
4. Please save it for future reference.
5. This application will be processed further. Upon notification user gets signed “ePass” from the authorities as notified.

Note:

• If required, police verification and inquiries would be conducted.
• Grant or rejection of permit depends on the department decision.

Apply through Centres:

1. To Apply for pass temporary travel pass (e-pass) due to covid-19, the applicant has to approach nearby Common Service Center (CSC) Link. Also, the applicant can approach nearby Akshaya service centre link
   • Note: The applicant has to select their state, district and block from the drop-down menu or the applicant can click on their respective district to find nearby center.
2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer. Or the applicant has to provide their details to the concerned officer.
3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form.
4. The applicant has to attach or provide the required documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page (If required).
5. Submit the completed application, document and applicable fees to the centre staff.
6. Application submitted will be processed and receipt with application number will be issued.
7. The applicant is informed through SMS at various stages i.e., Advance intimation about date of visit of the official to his place of residence for verification of his application, Approval/Rejection of his application.

• Organisations engaged in essential services
• Applicants who have necessity to travel from one district to another (Pregnancy, Childbirth, Accident or demise of family members)
• There shouldn’t be any total sealing or restrictions for people to go out.

Fees

No fees.

Validity

• ePass will have the validity mentioned on it (Valid from date and timing).
• The pass will be valid for the mentioned period of time.
