Step 1: Register with the Access to Government Procurement Opportunity (AGPO) portal (New User)

  1. To apply for an Access to Government Procurement Opportunity (AGPO) Certificate for People with Disabilities, visit the Access to Government Procurement Opportunity (AGPO) Website.
  2. New users will be required to register with the AGPO online user portal, hover the mouse cursor over the “Register” Option,
  3. This will facilitate the online registration page to open, fill in the required details under the Registration Section then click “Next”.
  4. Fill in the required details under the Business Section then click “Next”.
  5. Applicants should Select “Person with Disability” on the drop box, under ownership Group
  6. Fill in the required details under the Compliance Section then click “Next”.
  7. Fill in the required details under the Government Section then click “Submit”.
  8. Upon successful submission of the registration request, the applicant will receive a Registration submission notification on their device.
  9. After approval, the TRA system will forward an email with the credentials that will be sent to the user's registered email address to facilitate access to the portal.
  10. Log in to the account email you provided during the registration process and open an Automatically Generated email from the AGPO System.
  11. Click the provided hyperlink to activate the profile, and log in using the registered credentials (User Name/Password).

Step 2: Apply for the AGPO certificate for people with Disability

  1. Once logged in to the portal, proceed with theapplication for the AGPO certificate for people with Disability, and fill all mandatory fields accurately before proceeding to the step.
  2. Under the Documents Section, for every requirement do the following;
    • Ensure all your files have different names
    • For large file(s), you can reduce the file size by compressing the file e.g. using a PDF COMPRESSOR.
    • Click on the Browse button. Go to where the document is saved, select it, and then click “Open”.
    • Once you have browsed and selected all the required Files, click on “Upload Files”
  3. Under Submit Applications, confirm all information regarding the category of license selected is well inputted, once done click on “Submit Application”.
  4. No licensing fees are charged for obtaining the certificate.
  5. Upon successful submission, the applicant will receive anapplication submissionnotification.

Step 3: Processing and Evaluation and the issue of the certificate.

  1. Upon receipt of the application request, the AGPO registration office will start the vetting process to ensure that the applicant is a legitimate company/business.
  2. After a successful document evaluation phase has been completed satisfactorily, the AGPO system will generate and forward the AGPO registration certificate to the registered email account for the applicant to download.

  • Registration Certificate/ Certificate of Incorporation CR12 for Limited Company from
  • Registrar of Companies (system generated soft copy)

  • National Construction Authority Letter/ Certificate for construction category
