Karnataka - Online Change Address in Voter List (Electoral Roll)

Step 1: First one has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online. If you would like to know about the documents that are required for this procedure, please visit the following link: Required Documents to Change Address in Voter List (Electoral Roll).

Step 2: Please use the following link to apply online: Apply Online.

Step 3: In the given new window, click “Login/Register” button under “Login/Register to Avail following Facilities” on the left part of the screen as highlighted in “Red” in the below image.

Step 4: User will reach login page. Please enter “User Name”, “Password” and “Captcha” as appropriate and click “Login” button as highlighted in “Red” in the below image.

Step 5: If you are a new user then user please use select “Don’t have account, Register as a new user” option to reach registration page. Complete the page prompts as appropriate and click “Register” button to register and then login as highlighted in “Red” in the below image.

Step 6: Once login, in the given page click “Migration to another place” option under “What would you like to do?” as highlighted in “Red” in the below image.

Step 7: A new page prompts user to choose either “Self” or “Family”. Please choose as per requirement to get a prompt for entering Epic number. Enter the epic number against “Enter Epic no.”

Step 8: After entering epic number please choose either “Migration outside your constituency” or Migration within your constituency”. Please choose as per requirement and then click “Next” button.

Step 9: A new page will be displayed. Please select the language of choice and choose state, District and constituency as appropriate.

Step 10: Please select as per your requirement for the given options. Enter personal details, Address details EPIC details, EPIC number of neighbor.

Step 11: In continuation of the above, please upload required documents using the “Choose File” button as applicable. Please complete the other mandatory prompts as appropriate. Please enter email ID, Phone number and other details as applicable. Make sure to fill the mandatory details correctly.

Step 12: Enter the Captcha at the prompted space and click “Preview & Submit” button to apply online.

Step 13: If the preview looks correct please click the “Submit” button.

Step 14: A system generated reference id will be displayed as acknowledgement.

Step 15: Save it to use for tracking your application online later.

Step 16: Once you have submitted your application, it will be verified by the electoral officers as per department protocol.

Step 17: On successful verification, applicant will be issued with a updated voter ID having updated address printed on it.

Step 18: Applicant will also receive a notification regarding the addition of their name in the electoral roll of the constituency where they currently reside.
