Apply In-Person
- To apply for cancellation of a vehicle registration in Karnataka the applicant has to approach the RTO office to which your area belongs to. Following link can provide you information related to the list of RTO office: Contact link
- Write an application for cancellation in a white A4 size paper to the RTO officer / authority.
- Please mention the engine number, Chassis Number, Vehicle model and vehicle registration number.
- Please attach FIR obtained from Police Station.
- Also make sure you have all the necessary documents to process the application.
- Present the completed application along with documents to the officer at RTO. He will sign and put his stamp on application.
- Based on his advice submit the application and documents in one of the counter and pay the appropriate fee where the officials would start processing your application.
- Applicant will be issued with acknowledgement or the copy of application with details of registry, signature and stamp.
