Apply In-Person

  1. The copy of document (sale deed) can be obtained from the respective registered office where the land was registered.
  2. Please visit the respective SRO office. We have provided following link
  3. In the given page, please select the respective state as applicable to reach the respective state districts page. Please check and scroll down for the “Districts” section. Please click on the “View All” option to reach the districts page. Here click on the applicable district to reach the official district page.
  4. Here click on the menu and sub option as “DIRECTORY / PUBLIC UTILITIES / Municipalities” to reach a page with required contact information for locating the respective authorities office. Also Please look for other menu and sub options as “ABOUT DISTRICT / Who’s Who”.
  5. Once you locate the office contact details, call them to get any updates for applying.
  6. Visit the office and meet the respective designated staff. Request for the service and submit the details and documents.
  7. The staff will check the details and guide the applicant to provide additional details if any.
  8. Please provide them.
  9. Usually, the applicant will be asked to complete an application form for this process.
  10. Complete the application form and affix a revenue stamp as advised. Please enclose the land details and other relevant documents as required.
  11. Submit this application. The authority will check the submitted set and provide the challan for payment of fees.
  12. Please follow the payment mode as advised.
  13. Once the payment is remitted, a receipt will be provided for the payment remittance. Please keep it safe for future reference.
  14. This application will be processed by the SRO office authority concerned.
  15. Once the document is ready with the seal and signature, the applicant shall collect the copy of sale deed as per the advised timeline.
  16. Please visit the office on your own as per the timeline provided by the office that you provided.
  17. Once the staff explains the details, collect the application form if provided or write on a plain A4 sheet as advised.
