Procedure

Apply In Person:

1. To apply for the Electrical Supervisor Certificate, the applicant needs to collect and submit the application to the Department of Energy, Govt. of Jharkhand.
2. Procure the application form for issue of electrical supervisor certificate.
3. Fill the application and submit the application along with the required fees and payment, and scanned copies of the documents.
4. Refer the “Required documents” section of this procedure to know what all scanned documents need to be submitted.
5. Once the application is submitted, a scrutiny of the application by Junior Assistant will be carried out.
6. Then, the scrutiny of application by Electrical Inspector will be carried out.
7. If it is accepted, the scrutiny of application by the Member Secretary will be carried out.
8. If it is accepted, an admit card for the examination will be provided to the applicant.
9. The applicant then appears for the examination on the specific date.
10. Once the results are out, the certificate/permit will be issued to the qualified candidates.

1. To apply online for Electrical Supervisor licence, navigate to the link : Link
2. Fill up the details prompted carefully. Refer to the “Required Information” section for more details.
3. Upload the required documents mentioned below:
4. Educational Details (Starting from Matriculation or Equivalent) * (Certificate file cannot be greater than 200kb)
5. Details of Officer who has issued Character Certificate of the candidate. (Only .jpg/.jpeg/.pdf file | max size 200 kb).
6. Upload Photo and Signature (Only jpg/jpeg file. Photo max size 30 kb with min dimension (Width X Height) of 40px X 50px and max dimension (Width X Height) of 60px X 80px . Signature max size 20kb)
7. While applying choose the mines option in the Supervisor Type.
8. Click on ‘save and next’. Once you submit the application form, your documents will go through the verification process to the electrical licensing authority.
9. After completion of verification, the authorities will call you for an online exam.

Apply through Centres:

1. To Apply for Electrical Supervisor certificate in Jharkhand, the applicant shall visit the nearest CSC/Tehsil Centre. Find contacts to CSC centres in the link provided:Link
2. Procure the application form from the concerned centre and fill it up with the necessary details required for the card.
3. Make sure to attach all the "Required Documents" along with the application form before submission.
4. Provide authorized signatory and photograph, wherever applicable.
5. Now submit the application to the office of the concerned centre.
6. On successful verification, the applicant will be notified by the CSC centre.

• Scanned copy of Passport size photograph.
• Treasury Challan.
• Age proof Certificate. (PAN Card, School leaving certificate, Aadhar card, Birth certificate issued by Corporation / Municipality / Panchayat)
• Address proof (Domicile certificate / Aadhaar Card)

Eligibility

• The applicant must be a domicile of India.
• The applicant should possess workmen Permit Class VIII pass.
• The applicant should possess Electrical Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency Degree in Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or must be a person with 10 (Ten) years experience in electrical works.
• Must have ITI/Diploma/Electrical Degree in Government-authorized institute.
• Address proof and residential proof
• Supervisor character certificate along with the issued authority name (Note that the character certificate to be received from the Green ink holder such as Notary officer or AE or EE anyone).
• Two years of electrical experience as an electrical supervisor under a competence certificate holder.
• For a diploma, the candidate needs to attain an exam and the date will be announced after your certification verification.
• Note that, Electrical Engineering candidates will not require work experience.
• For ITI Holder, Practical knowledge will be required in the installation of maintenance of electrical plants for 4 (four) years after joining the two-year Electrician / Wireman Trade (ITI).
• For 10th Pass candidates, After passing the matriculation or equivalent examination, they will be required to have knowledge of maintenance and installation of electrical plants for 06 (six) years.

Fees

• Fees for the admission examination and test with every application Form for the first Certificate of Competency: Rs. 100/-
• Fees for the admission into examination and test with every application Form for each additional or subsequent class of Certificate of competency: Rs. 50/-
• Renewal fees for any class or classes of Certificate of Competency, if done within the time limit: Rs. 30/-
• Penalty for late renewal of Certificate of Competency-
  • If renewed within a period of one year from the date of expiry: Rs. 20/-
  • If renewed within a period of five years from the date of expiry: Rs. 20/- for each year of default.
• Fees for issue of a duplicate Certificate of Competency: Rs. 50/-

Note: -

• The above rates shall also be applicable to candidates who have been exempted either partly or wholly from appearing in examination for a Certificate of Competency.
• The fee details may vary according to each state.
  

Validity

• The permits are to be renewed once in 5 years.
