Apply In-Person:

  1. To Book Complaint about an Incorrect EB Meter, the applicant has to approach the J& K POWER DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT link
  2. The applicant has to write a written complaint letter for EBI.
  3. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  4. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
  5. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
  6. There is no fee for complaining EB meter.
  7. After receiving the letter, the concerned authority will check the submitted letter and document. If all are in place, the letter will be accepted.
  8. The authority will visit the site for checking the EB meter.
  9. This entire process can be completed within a week or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
