Procedure

Apply Online

1. The Labour Market Information System (LMIS) is a system under the Ministry of Labour and Social Security (MLSS) of Jamaica. you can get in touch with the LMIS through the contacts provided in this link: Link
2. To post a Job in the LMIS you need to visit the LMIS website via this link: Link
3. At the top right side of the home page, click on “Login” to be directed to the next page
4. Enter your user name or email address and password to access your account if you are a registered user or click on “Register” to create your account
5. On the registration page, enter your User name, Email Address and click on the drop-box under “Account Type” to select the type of account you are registering with i.e., Employer
6. Then enter your company details in the provided fields and click on “Register” to submit your application
7. Upon submission, an LMIS official will assess your application and approve it
8. Once approved, you will receive an email from LMIS with instruction on how to complete creating your account
9. Click on the provided link in your email to set up your account and you will be directed to the LMIS page where you will choose a password for your account
10. After setting your password, click on the “login” button to go to your account
11. Once in the account, under your dashboard, click on “Post a Job” and enter all the required details about the job you wish to post, and click on “Preview” to confirm the information you have provided
12. If you are satisfied with the job details, proceed and post the Job
