Procedure

How to Apply - Obtain Stage Carriage Licence Online with Images

1. To apply for a road/stage license, you should visit the Transports Authority (TA) office. Please view the TA contact details via this link:Link
2. First determine the kind of road license you want to apply for and visit the TA to obtain the application from to apply in person or complete the online application to apply online via this link:Link
3. If you are a register user, enter your email address and password to login and if you don’t have an account, click on “Register Now” to create an account. In the new page, entre your email address and submit, you will then receive a notification informing you that an email has been sent to your email account with instructions on how to complete your account setup.
4. Go to your email account and click on the link form TA to direct you to the TA online registration form and fill in all the required information to create an account
5. Upon a successful creation of your account, return to the logging in page to sign in by entering your registered email and password to access your account
6. Once logged in, click on “Submit Application” in the new page select type of application as “New” and the location where the license will be collected then click on “Next” to complete applying for the license you wish to apply for and pay the license fee using the online platform
7. While for offline application, you should submit the complete application form along all the required documents to the TA for processing after payment of the required license fess

Note: Persons who want to apply for Route Taxi licences should visit their respective Route Taxi Associations.

Eligibility

• Owners of vehicles who wish to obtain road license

Fees

• Contract Carriage: For new $16 600 and $15600 for Renewal
• Hackney Carriage: For new $15000 and $13 500 for renewal
• Route Taxi: For new $ 15 000 and $12 000 for renewal

Validity

• The license is valid for one year and can be renewed at the end of the validity period
