Israel - Apply for a new passport
ProcedureEdit
- Submit all the documents at your local branch of Misrad Hapnim (Ministry of the Interior)
- Fill in the application form
- Pay the application fee
- Passport will be mailed to the applicant
citizens living abroad can apply for a passport at an israeli embassy
citizens are required to appear in person at the embassy
it may be required to book for an appointment before submitting the application.

- Foreign Passport
- Your Teudat Maavar (if you had one issued)
- Application for an Israeli passport (can be filled out at Misrad Hapnim or you can download it at(www.moin.gov.il)
- 2 identical passport pictures
- Processing fee payable by cash, credit card or bank check; you can obtain a discount by filling out the form online

You are entitled to apply for an Israeli passport one year after your Aliyah , provided that you have resided at least 75% of the first year in Israel.

March to October: 250 NIS, November to February: 195 NIS
ValidityEdit
An Israeli passport issued to an adult is valid for 10 years, and for minors it's 5 years.
