- The “Gujarat Teacher Eligibility Test (Gujarat TET)” is conducted by the State Examination Board to determine the eligibility of candidates as teachers in government or private schools.
- There will be an official notification release by the respective board for Gujarat TET. On the issue of notification, the deserving candidates shall apply to register for the Gujarat TET.
Apply Online
- The candidate shall use the following link to reach the respective portal to apply online Link
- In the given home page, please click on the “Online Application” and choose “Apply” from the dropdown list to reach “List of Current Advertisements” page.
- Here, please click on the “Select” tab against “Select Advertisement by Department :” to get a dropdown list and click on the “SEB (…)” option to reach a page with list of announcements.
- The applicant shall click on the “Apply” button next to the respective “TET” announcement to reach a new page with information useful for the applicant’s.
- Please click on the “Apply Now” button to reach a new page. Here, please click on the “Skip” button to reach the “Apply Online” page.
- Please complete the page prompts as appropriate. Upload the documents as applicable. Once the mandatory details are filled, please click on the “Yes” checkbox for the declaration and then click on the “Save” button to get a receipt with application number. Please save it for future reference.
- Now, please click on the “Upload” menu and choose “Photo / Signature” option to reach the “Upload Photograph and Signature” page.
- Here, please enter the application number and date of birth at the appropriate prompted space as applicable and click on the “OK’ button to get the prompts to upload the photograph and signature.
- Please use the “Browse” button to choose the file as appropriate and then click on the “Upload” button to upload the photograph and signature as per the sections provided to complete the upload requirements.
- Now, please click on the “Online Application” menu and choose “Confirm” option to reach the “Confirm Application” page.
- Here, please enter the application number and date of birth at the appropriate prompted space as applicable and click on the “OK’ button to get the prompts to confirm.
- Please go through the provided details. If the details are correct, then click on the “Confirm Application” button to get a message popup to confirm. Please click on the “Ok” button to get another receipt page as acknowledgement with a confirmation number. Please save it for future reference.
- Also, in the same page, please click on the “Print Application” button to print the application form for future reference. There is one more button “Print Challan”, which the applicant clicks to generate a post office challan.
- Now, please click on the “Fees” menu and choose “Online/Post Office Challan” option to reach the “Print Application Form” page.
- Here, please enter the confirmation number and date of birth at the appropriate prompted space as applicable and click on the “Online Payment of Fees’ button to get a new page. Please scroll down and click on the “Submit” button to reach the payment gateway page.
- Please process the payment gateway page as per the online payment option as applicable to complete the submission of application.
- This application will be processed by the respective department. Once the department approves the application, the applicant will get intimation and the admit card will be provided as per applicable norms.

EligibilityEdit
- The candidate should be the citizen of India.
- The age limit for the candidates is 18 Years to 40 Years.
- For those who belong to SC, ST, and OBC, age relaxation in the upper age limit is 5 Years.
- Candidates should be class 12 passed or a graduate from a recognized university with a minimum of 45 per cent marks.
- Candidates should have obtained a Diploma in Education or Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) or completed any other prescribed teacher training programme/course.
FeesEdit
- The TET application fee is prescribed by the respective exam bodies.
ValidityEdit
- The approved application is valid for the period (year) for which the examination is notified.
