Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for License for Vulcanising Shop in person, the applicant has to approach the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) or AYAWASO West Municipal Assembly.

3. Applicant must obtain the application form from the relevant department.
4. Read carefully through the application form as there contain different section.
5. The applicant has to make sure he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
6. Payment of appropriate fees should be made and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page.
7. Submit the completed form in two copies along with the supporting documents to the respective office.
8. This application will be processed and information will be verified by the respective office.
9. If all the above mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the application form will be viewed by concerned authorities and the applicant will be notified regarding their license.
10. After the notified period applicant gets license as per applicable delivery norms.
11. The Processing time for this procedure is 1 month.

• A copy of the national pollution discharge elimination system discharge permit or notice of coverage for that location, (as applicable)
• A copy of the storm water pollution prevention plan for that location ,(as applicable)
• A copy of the state registration for a tire recycling facility, (as applicable)
• A copy of all other records and permits required by all state and federal agencies that regulate tire business including but not limited to the EPA.
• All applications must be signed and sworn to by the party applying for the license.
