Ghana - How to Print Certificate of a Stamp Duty

Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Print Certificate of a Stamp Duty in person, the applicant has to approach the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).
2. Address and contact details can be found in the following Contact link
3. The applicant has to make sure that he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
4. A fee for this procedure is has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
5. Type in the Acknowledgement number and the barcode number obtained from GRA office.
6. On payment of the stamp duty fee at any designated bank of the applicant’s choices, visit the Ghana Revenue Authority branch office (GRA) near the applicant with the acknowledgment payment receipt (bank slip).
7. Approaches the service desk, the attending officer will then type in the Acknowledgement number and enter him/her issued barcode number onto the GRA computer system and then print out the certificate and issue it to the applicant immediately.
8. The processing time for this procedure is immediate.

• The certificate is only printed once, if by any reason he/she is close without printing the applicant will need to apply for Duplicate at a cost.
