Apply In-Person:

  1. To Get Permission for Market Stalls and Stores in Ghana, the applicant must go to the Ada East District Assembly (AEDA) office. contact link
  2. Applicants should obtain the required application form from the Ada East District Assembly Office.
  3. Applicant must be filled all the information in the application form.
  4. Applicant must make sure to carry all necessary documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. A fee for this procedure is has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
  6. Now, complete the application form with appropriate information under relevant sections. Attest it with the applicant signature once completed.
  7. Once completed filling the application form, submit it in person to the relevant authority at the office.
  8. Pay the necessary application fees and licensing fees for this application.
  9. After submission, the application and other documents will be forwarded for examination and verification processes.
  10. Once the verification and validation processes are over, the application will be approved and the officials will proceed to take required steps to issue the certificate.
  11. When the license is ready to be collected, the applicant will receive a formal notification from the office and the applicant can collect it by any applicable means.
  12. The processing time for this procedure takes 3 weeks.

  • Proof of Expected Annual Turnover(self-attested)

  • Food Safety Management System plan or certificate (if any)
  • Declaration Form
  • Photo I.D and address proof issued by Government authority of Proprietor/Partner/Director(s)/Authorised Signatory
  • Proof of possession of premises. (Sale deed/ Rent agreement/ Electricity bill, etc.)
  • Partnership Deed/Self Declaration for Proprietorship/Memorandum & Articles of Association towards the constitution of the firm
  • Nomination of Persons by a Company along with the Board Resolution.
  • Additional documents(If any)
