Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Apply for Temporary Work Visa in Ghana in Ghana, the applicant must go to the Ghana Immigration office contact link
2. An applicant has to approach the Ghana Immigration office and applicant can get their application form for temporary work visa.
3. Applicant has to enter all information in the application form.
4. Applicant must make sure to carry all necessary documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page. (Both photocopies and originals)
5. Applicant should attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the applicant from while submitting it at the office.
6. A Fee for this work visa is free of cost.
7. Present your application with other attachments to the Ministry of Internal affairs in Ghana or at the Nearest Embassy of Ghana in the Country of Origin.
8. Then, present a receipt after two week and you will receive the Temporary work permit.
9. Generally, the processing time for this procedure takes 1 month.

• Police background check from the employee’s qualifications to work in Ghana.
• A CV demonstrating the employee’s qualifications to work in Ghana
• A medical certificate.

• A tax clearance certificate.
• Regulations of the company code.
• The company’s certificates of incorporation and registration.
• The company’s certificate to commence business.
• Proof that the company advertised the job to local workers in Ghana.
