Procedure

Apply In-Person:

2. Applicant has to approach the Venture Capital Fund office in Ghana and the applicant can get their application form for Venture capital Fund (VCTF).
3. Applicant has to enter all information in the application form.
4. Applicant must make sure to carry both photocopies and originals of all documents are necessary for completing this procedure.
5. Attach all the required information and before submitting his/her business proposal to the Secretariat for approval.
6. In additional to the required documents he/she should include financial statements for previous years which will give a true and fair view of his/her Business.
7. Make sure his/her have used appropriate accounting policies that are supported by reasonable and prudent judgements and estimates, and that all International Accounting Standards which he/she considers to be appropriate have been followed.
8. Pay the appropriate fees where the officials would start processing your application.
9. Submit his/her Application together with the Business proposal to VCTF secretariat for shortlisting and review of the Application form. The Management before selecting an applicant will ensure that the guidelines and principal of the VCTF were duly maintained and reported in accordance with VCTF statutory.
10.  Selected applicants will be approved and funds will be disbursed to the account provided by the applicant, and a memorandum of understanding will be signed between the Ghana venture Capital Trust Fund and Investee Company.
11. Generally, the processing time for this procedure takes 8 weeks.
