Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Apply for Training in Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems in Ghana, the applicant has to approach the Ghana standards Authority office (GSA) contact link
2. Information related to the Training in Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems authority can be obtained from the “Office locations and contacts “section of this page.
3. The applicant should obtain the application form.
4. Applicant must provide all necessary information in the application form.
5. The applicant has to make sure he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
6. Registration forms must be completed and submitted with all evidence of prior knowledge requirements 20 days prior to a scheduled course.
7. A prospective representative must be notified of the conclusion of their application within 5 days of receipt of their application.
8. Full course fee are payable in advance. Attendance is only guaranteed upon submission of a receipt indicating full payment.
9. Failure to provide proof of payment will lead to the learner being refused entry to the course.
10. GSA reserves the right to cancel/reschedule the course due to insufficient learner registrations.
11. All cancellations by learner must reach the above address, in writing, not later than 10 days prior to the commencement date of the course.
12. There would be no refund of course fee in the event of non-attendance without cancellation.
13. Also, the duration of this training depends on the type of training you are learning.
14. The processing time for this procedure takes 1 to 5 working days.

Eligibility

• This training is for anyone involved in the detailed technical management and improvement of an OH&S MS based on ISO 45001:2018. It is suitable for many roles including managers, consultants, team leaders and process managers/owners.
• Applicant should ideally have good knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 and the key principles of an OH&S MS – either by attending our Requirements course (or equivalent) or direct experience.

Fees

• An administration and cancellation fee of 50% will be payable in respect of a cancellation received less than 10 days prior to the commencement date of the course.

Note: all course fees are charged per person and per course. Group discount may be given in cases where one organization sends more than five delegates.

• The duration of this training depends on the type of training you are learning.
