Apply In-Person:

  1. To Apply for Notice of Cessation of Business of External Company in person, the applicant has to approach the Register General Department (RGD) office. Contact link
  2. Applicants must download the application form 25 from this Link
  3. Applicant filled all details in the application form.
  4. Name should be the same as found on Statutory Documents ofthe body corporate incorporated outside Ghana.
  5. Documents that are needed for this procedure are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
  6. Read the instructions before completing form. Incomplete applications or invalid data may delay the registration process.
  7. The above documents should be notarized by a Notary Public from the country of origin or duly stamped and sealed by the relevant Embassy or Consulate of Ghana from the said country of origin.
  8. Applicants should also submit to the Registrar a Statement duly notarized in the jurisdiction of origin of the Company giving particulars regarding the Beneficial Ownersof the company. See section 330(1) (c) of Act 992
  9. If the authorized official is satisfied that all the information are in order, applicant will be notified of the outcome and issued with an amended business registration certificate and other supporting documents upon payment of the required fees.
  10. Payment of appropriate fees should be made and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page.
  11. The Processing time for this procedure is 1 month.

  • copy of the Certificate of Incorporation, a Power of Attorney appointing the Local Manager and where applicable,
  • A copy ofthe Constitution, Charter, Statutes, Regulations, Memorandum and Articles of Association, or any other instrument constituting or defining the Constitution of the Company, in a language acceptable to the Registrar.

  • In Ghana, a category of workers are obligated to register a private company unlimited by shares. They include lawyers, architects and auditors.

  • The Registration Number is stated at the top left side of the Registration Certificate.
  • Full name and TIN of the natural person or legal entity submitting documents to the Registrar of companies.
