Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Apply for No Objection Certificate for Retail Outlets in Ghana, the applicant should contact the Department of Social Welfare.

3. Applicant must obtain the application form from the relevant department.
4. Applicant should read carefully in the application form, after all details must be filled in the application form.
5. Applicant must make sure to carry all necessary documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page. (Both photocopies and originals)
6. Please refer to the fees details in the “Fees” section of this page.
7. Submit the completed forms along with the supporting documents at the respective office for verification and processing.
8. If the verification is successful, the notification will be sent to the applicant.
9. After the applicant’s application is verified and appropriate fees are paid the No Objection Certificate (NOC) will be provided.
10. If there is no information regarding their application, then, the applicant can visit the office to know status of the application.
11. The processing time for this procedure is 5 days.

• NOC remains valid for a maximum of 6 months.
