Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Apply for Mobile Van/Open Air Cinema Licence in Ghana, the applicant has to approach the National Film Authority office.

3. Applicant must be obtained the application form from NFA office.
4. Applicant has to enter all the information in the application form.
5. The applicant has to make sure he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
6. Payment of appropriate fees should be made and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page.
7. After filling the form proceed to pay the prescribed fee.
8. Submit the dully filled in form and attached with pay slip to the Cinema/film controller Officer in charge of the film production at Ghana national film authority.
9. If the submitted application plus all documents deem it fit, then the applicant shall be issued with a Mobile van/Open Air Cinema License from Ghana national film authority.
10. The applicant shall pick the License where the application was submitted from the date the application was received at the Commission in case there is no rejection.
11. The processing time for this procedure takes 28 days.

• Certified true copy of memorandum & Articles of Association.
• Tax Clearance Certificate.
• Evidence of financial commitment to the agreement with the copyright owner.

• Licence fees: 100,000 GHS. (Annual Fee)

Validity

• A license is valid for a period of twelve months.
