Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for Export Promotion Board Certificate is available in the International Trade Administration office in Ghana. Contact link.
2. The applicant has to approach the respective office. Then, the applicants can get their application form.
3. Read carefully through the application forms as there contain different section.
4. Please complete each section of this application form as a Word document then submit a printed version of the completed form, along with the supporting documents to the TRADE regional office or the head office for verification and processing and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
5. Please refer to the fees details in the “Fees” section of this page.
6. Pay the processing fees, upon which the applicant will be issued with a receipt.
7. Submit the completed form in two copies along with the supporting documents to the TRADE regional and district office or the head office.
8. Upon submission, the applicant will get an -acknowledgment receipt.
9. Submit application to office in-charge for approval with attachments.
10. Upon approval by the officer in-Charge, a receipt and certificate will be issued.
11. Generally, the processing time for this procedure is 2 days.

• Business name registration certificate (copy) For sole proprietorships
• Certificate of registration of a cooperative (copy) For cooperatives
• Form 20 (notification and appointment of secretary and director of company) (copy) this document at company registration.
• Form 7 (original + copy) For companies incorporated earlier than July 2016
• Tax identification number For the company
• National Identification card
• Proof of payment.
• The applicant’s passport photos.
• Completed health check report.

• Any person aged 18 years and above and legally residing in the country is Eligible to register with Ghana TRADE office.

Fees

• No fees for registration.

Validity

• The license is valid for one year and renewable thereafter.
