Apply online
  1. To Obtain a Police Clearance Certificate, the applicant has to use the following link – link
  2. In the given page, hit the “Apply online” tab at the bottom of the page to reach the next page.
  3. Choose the right option under “Your birth place” session and follow next session.
  4. Enter email ID at the prompted box and reach the next session.
  5. Here, click on the respective postal address option to get delivery for abroad or in France and complete additional requests session by checking the box next to click here for European language need as applicable.
  6. Once all prompts are complete, hit “carry on” to reach next page for completing the online applying process.
  7. In this page complete the prompted information for personal and address details and hit “next step” to view the summary of information as entered. If details are correct, please select the right option to reach the next page.
  8. Here, user has to complete the prompts for “Pre-registration of my request” session details and hit the respective option to complete the filing process.
  9. Applicant will get the reply in less than an hour through email if applicant has no list of criminal records.
  10. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  11. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
  12. The applicant has to visit the office to get the clearance certificate.
  13. This entire process can be completed within 15 - 20 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.



a. Apply in person in French Polynesia
  1. Police Clearance Certificate can be applied at “Court of First Instance“
  2. Go to the respective office. Don’t forget to take the required copy of documents along with originals to the office. Application forms can be obtained from the respective office on visit.
  3. Please follow as per authorities guidelines and submit the completed application along with documents. Applicant should pay for any charges if required as advised.
  4. This application will be processed by respective department.
  5. The certificate can be collected from the office where applicant applied in person or will be delivered through mail upon notification or issued as per norms.

  2. This application received will be processed by respective department. The certificate will be delivered to the applicant as per norms.

a. Apply through mail(post) in French Guyana and overseas
  1. To Obtain a Police Clearance Certificate, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Justice – link
  2. The applicant has to visit the office with the request letter.
  3. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer. or it can be downloaded from the following link – link
  4. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
  5. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  6. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
  7. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned office mailing address.

  9. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
  10. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.

Need for the DocumentEdit

A police certificate is an official document issued by police or government agency of a country to enumerate any criminal records that the applicant may or may not have. Criminal records may include arrest, conviction, and possibly criminal proceedings.

This confidential document is strictly personal. You do not have the right to request the ballot of another person, even if it is your spouse (s) or your adult child.

The law punishes anyone * was issued with the newsletter of the criminal records of a third party.

Criminal record, update 3"(Bulletin # 3) cannot be asked to serve the national automated criminal records by the person concerned or his legal representative in the case of a minor or an adult under guardianship. Demand which shall specify the Vital Statistics interested, may be made by letter or computer communications.

However, if the applicant was born abroad, if his place of birth is unknown or is under the age of twelve years, the application can only be made by letter with proof of marital status. Bulletin # 3 can also be obtained if the person concerned is in the service of the national automated criminal records and justifies identity "(Article R. 82 of the Code of Criminal Procedure).

Police clearance certificates are different in each country and territory and may be called police certificates, good conduct certificates, judicial record extracts, pcc, etc. They are issued by police authorities or government departments and used by Citizenship and Immigration to prevent individuals who possess a risk to Country's security from entering the country.

OthersEdit

All applicants 16 years of age and over require a police certificate from his or her country of nationality or current residence if living there more than six months (6 months), and from any other country if residence was more than one year (12 months), unless the country is specifically excluded from this requirement by the State Department.

Applicants must request the police clearance at least fifteen (15) working days in advance of the visa interview so that the Embassy will have it on the interview date.

Failure to request the police clearances in a timely manner will cause a delay in the approval and issuance of your visa.

Applicants must submit the attached form(s) at the appropriate police station in person, with their passports, so that their fingerprints may be taken.
