Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. For requesting detention of pirated copies in Fiji, the applicant must visit the Consumer Council of Fiji contact link
2. The application form is available in the following link
3. Applicant must provide all the information that is requested in the application form.
4. Applicant must carry both photocopies and originals of all the documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
5. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. Applicant must attach both photocopies and originals of all the documents along with the completed application form before submitting it at the office.
7. The Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
8. If all these procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the permit will be provided within a stipulated period of time.
9. The applicant will be notified regarding the permit or certificate via SMS or E-mail. Once after receiving the notification, the applicant can visit the office to get their permit or certificate.
10. If there is no information regarding the permit is provided by the concerned officials, the applicant can visit the office to know the status of their permit or certificate.

3. The applicant must click on “Lodge a Complaint” for opening the application form.
4. The applicant should provide their “Consumer Name”, “Email ID”, “Age”, “Gender”, “Contact Number”, “Residential Address”, “Postal Address”, “Town/City”.
5. Then, the applicant should provide Respondent Details too.
6. Finally, the applicant should provide Complaint Details.
7. The applicant must upload digital copies of all documents that are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
8. Finally, the applicant should click on “Submit” option for submitting the application form.
9. If all these procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the detention will be done as soon as possible.
