Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Report Death or Loss of Animal on Voyage, the applicant must go to the Ministry of Agriculture office in Fiji.Contact Link
2. The death or loss of animal must be first given as an oral report right after arriving at the port after the voyage to the inspection inspector.
3. Then, the master of the animal (applicant) must write a report on the incident happened during the voyage and submit it to the authorities in the Ministry of Agriculture.
4. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. The written application form should be filled with necessary details, and along with the required documents, it should be submitted to the any person appointed by the Ministry of Agriculture to be an inspector.
6. There is no fee to report the death or loss of animal on voyage.
7. After submitting the application, the authorities will verify and enter the details in the register.
8. The processing time will be intimated to the applicant while applying.

Eligibility

The master of the animal on the voyage is eligible to report about the incident.

Fees

There is no fee to report about the Death or Loss of Animal on Voyage.

Validity

The report must be made immediately reaching the first port of entry at Fiji.
