Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Get Approval for Jet Boat Driver Training Instructor, the applicant must visit the Maritime Safety Authority of Fiji (MSAF). Contact Link
2. The application form must be obtained from the authorities in the MSAF office, or else it can be downloaded from the website. Application Form
3. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. The application form should be filled with necessary details, and along with the required documents it should submitted to the Chief Executive Officer of MSAF Fiji.
5. The CEO will verify the application, and then the approval for the Jet Boar Driver Training Instructor License will be issued.
6. The fee structure for the application is are given below in the “Fees” section of this page.
7. The processing time for this procedure will be intimated by the authorities in the MSAF office.

Eligibility

• To apply for Jet Boat Drivers’ Training Instructor license, the applicant should meet all the eligibility criteria set by the Fiji’s MSAF regulation law. Some of them are:
• Minimum 15 years of Experience as Jet Boat Drivers Instructors.
• Recommendation/ Reference letter on relevant work experience.
• Appropriate knowledge of the operations in accordance with the relevant Regulations
  

Fees

• The fee details for the Under Water Surveyor application are:
• Application Fee - $37.25 (VIP)
• Endorsement attesting the recognition of CoC Fee - $115.00 (VIP)
  

Validity

The validity of the Training Instructor License will be will be mentioned in the License issued to the applicant.
