Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for Authorized Motor Vehicle Dealing Business Permit (AMVD), the applicant must visit the Land Transport Authority (LTA) Fiji. Contacts Link
2. The application form must be obtained from the authorities in the LTA office.
3. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section.
4. Then the application form should be filled with necessary details, and then it should be submitted along with the required documents to the CSO – Customer Service Officer.
5. The CSO will update the application details in the LTA system, and now the application fees must be paid, which is $105.50.
6. After paying the fees, the application will be forwarded to the authorities in LTA for verification, and finally the CEO will approve the application.
7. After the application is approved, the applicant will receive the Approval letter.
8. Then the applicant must pay the permit fee, which is $2614.00.
9. After paying the permit fee, the Vehicle dealing Business Permit certificate will be issued to the applicant.
10. The processing time for getting the Vehicle dealing Business Permit will be intimated to the applicant while applying.
