1. To apply for Temporary Movement Visa, the applicant must visit the Fiji Immigration Department. Contacts Link
2. The visitor visa application form should be obtained from the authorities in the Immigration department or else can be downloaded from the website. Application Form
3. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. The application form should be filled with necessary details, and then it should be submitted along with the required documents to the Director of Immigration Department.
5. The immigration department officer will verify the application form and then will issue the Temporary Movement Visa.

7. The processing time to get the Temporary Movement Visa will be intimated to the applicant while applying.
   

Apply Online

1. To apply for the Temporary Movement Visa, the applicant must visit Fiji Immigration’s official Website. Online Portal Link
2. The applicant can directly start applying using this link, there is no separate account creation is required.
3. Before starting the application form, make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section.
4. The document requirement checklist is also available on the online portal.
5. Make sure to carry all the documents in PDF format.
6. The maximum limit of document to upload in the online portal is 30.
7. On the webpage, the applicant must fill in all the necessary details and then upload the documents.
8. The applicant should give a valid email address and phone number, which will be used for further communication purposes.
9. After uploading the required documents, apply by selecting the “Submit” option.
10. The payment must be done via Direct Deposits.
11. After the payment confirmation, the immigration department officer will verify the application form and then will issue the Temporary Movement Visa.

• For Holiday Purposes:
  • Completed Visitors Visa Application form
  • Certified Copy of the Passport (Bio data page)
  • Two (02) recent passport size photos
  • Confirmation of pre-booked hotel (If accommodated at hotel)
  • Local Sponsor letter (if accommodated with family/friends)
  • A copy of the travel itinerary/ticket
  • Proof of funds to sustain duration of stay (e.g. recent Bank Statement/Visa Cards)
  • Certified Copy of Sponsor Valid I.D/Passport/ Permit
  • Proof of approved visa and confirmed onward ticket [if applicant is travelling to another country needing visa)
  • Consent letter from spouse (if travelling alone)
  • Consent letter from parents (for 18 years and under) and travelling alone
  • Approval Leave letter [if employed]
  • Proof of relationship (Certified copy of Marriage Certificate/Birth Certificates)
    

• For Transiting Purpose
  • Completed Visitors Visa Application form
  • Certified Copy of Passport (Bio data page)
  • Two (02) passport size photos
  • Proof of confirmed onward ticket to the next destination and another confirmed outward ticket if travelling out of that destination.
  • Proof of approved visa/permit for the next destination

  • Sponsor letter if a local company/organization is sponsoring to indicate the undertaking person for the duration of his/her period)

  • Purpose of visit [business/workshop/training]
  • Intended duration of stay or programme duration
  • Location of undertaking [where will the business/workshop/training take place]
  • Outline of business/workshop/training to be undertaken
  • A copy of the travel itinerary/confirmed ticket

Eligibility

All foreign travellers who meet the Visa requirements are eligible to apply for Temporary Movement Visa.

Fees

• Single Entry Fees - $ 91
• Multiple Entry Fees - $ 180
  

Validity

• The Holiday Purpose is valid up to 4 months. (Can be extended upon expiry)
• The Transit visa is valid for 3 hours to 72 hours. (Can be extended based on the reason)
• The Business/Training/Workshop Purpose is valid up to 14 days. (Can be extended based on the reason)
• The Fishing Agencies (CREW / SEAMAN] is valid up to 30 days.
